Function

• It protect the cell from bacterial infection. It destroy any foreign material which enters in cell such as bacteria and viruses.
• It also remove poorly working cell organelles by digesting them.
• It is also known as demolition squads, scavengers and cellular housekeepers.
• Lysosomes is also known as suicide bad because during cell damage lysosome bursts and eat their own cell.
