What is physics?
- Physics is the study of nature and its laws.
- In nature every things happens have a unique law or unique pattern or system we study these things in physics.
Physics and mathematics
- Mathematics is the language of physics.
scope and excitement of physics
- There are different branches of physics mainly its divided into two parts
- Classical physics
- Modern physics
Classical Physics
- The theories of physics up to approx 1900 is known as classical physics.
- In classical physics there are mainly 4 sub disciplines.
- Mechanics :- In mechanics we deals with motion related things or problems.
- Thermodynamics:- In thermodynamics we deals with heat related things or problems.
- Electrodynamics:- In electrodynamics we deals with Electricity and magnetism.
- optics:- In optics we deals with light.
Modern physics
- The theories of physics which develops approx from 1900 is known as modern physics.
- the sub branches of modern physics is:-
- Atomic physics : In atomic physics we deals with atoms , molecules and its structure.
- Nuclear physics : In nuclear physics we deals with properties of nucleas of atoms.
- Quantum Physics : In Quantum physics we deals with wave particle duality.
- theory of relativity ; In theory of relativity we deals with the very high speed that is speed of light.
