EXOCYTOSIS

The releasing of product and waste materials from the cell through the cell membrane is known as exocytosis.

Substances released by cell through the process of exoctosis are:-

1. Undigested residues
2. Secrete substances like hormones and enzymes 

• It is a type of active transport.

Process of exocytosis:-

1. Vesicle containing molecule inside the cell is transported to the cell membrane.
2. Then vasicle is attached to the cell membrane.
3. Fusion of vasicle with the cell membrane release the vesicle outside the cell.
