Absolute error

  • The absolute error is the error in measurements that is equals to the difference between absolute value and measurement value.
How to calculate absolute value

  • We measures several time and take arithmetical mean of them and we get the absolute value.
  • And we obtain the absolute error by subtracting the individual measurement from absolute value.
  • The arithmetical mean of all absolute error is taken as final absolute error.
Relative error
  • Relative error is the ratio between final absolute error and the mean of all the measurements.
Percentage error
